Last night I laughed

Last night I was remembering my twin..

I had to laugh out loud! I was telling two of my grown kids .."aunt Netty and I had so much fun and had so many secrets!" I cracked up remembering a "trick" we had....we so often would "BUY" each other something but NOT REALLY... it was way to get something and say it was a GIFT from each other and cover our tracks of the cost to the hubbies. Or ourselves.

HAHAHA sometimes I would get a call from my twin " Hey ,Barb, you bought me three pair of pants today" I would say..." I am so nice, do you like 'em?"

I "bought" her more really and by proxy as she had more financial budget restrictions on her.

OR It went this way:

"hey, look what Netty got me" and the response was usually great or fine....

I would buy her the SAME item. see?

It was fun. I still do it some. I say "Netty would have gotten me this" hahaha

Tiny nothings really.

OR "Send me some money and I will send you some" .... hahahaha not so much in the secure years after our hubbies had finished college.

I even bought an extra gift for my 6 yr olds bday this past month as I knew his Aunt Netty would have sent him something. I told him this is from Aunt Netty ..

'cause she can not SHOP in heaven.

I kept it simple as she always did. As she always was...SIMPLY awesome .

Twin TIP : It is not nice to change poor photos to put your twins name instead of yours! I tried it... NOT nice. :)

My secret email

I had a secret email account.

Nothing weird,immoral ,embarrassing. It was for a "fix" a "hit"... I used it to talk to my Twin sister DAILY if not hourly... so I had this email only to write to her in cyberspace...outerspace...the hereafter.

grade 4 Glioma

I needed to talk to her as we have done for 45 years...privately... about nothing.

I needed that. I needed her. we both agreed ...life would be CRAP (Sorry for that disgusting word but it fit) without each other.

Turns out... It isn't CRAP... it is just more lonely. And, life has some of that 'Crap' to it ... but not always.

that is why we hold on to it so hard
